Target Audience
New York State primary care and family practice physicians, obstetricians/gynecologists, pediatricians and psychiatrists; as well as, psychologists, nursing professionals, social workers, residents, and mental health clinicians working with primary care, pediatric or ob/gyn practices.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, learners will:
- Describe the importance and process of accessing OPWDD services for children with Autism
- Discuss the first and second line medication treatments of ADHD in children with ASD
- Discuss the first and second line medication treatments of anxiety in children with ASD
- Discuss the use and limitations of medications in the treatment of aggression in children with ASD
